Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Higuera AFC's Vicente Cristos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Everardo Soter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Emanuel Bilintx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 7 minutes, Vicente Cristos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Higuera AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vicente Cristos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 11 minutes in the game, Vicente Cristos fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Emanuel Bilintx having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Olavarría's zone, Apolo Cedro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Bilintx came out of the goal and Apolo Cedro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Olavarría's Melquiades Elivareo got a free kick in the 18th minute. After 22 minutes, Ariel Delfino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olavarría and the Higuera AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 22 played minutes Olavarría got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Delfino. Higuera AFC's Zeledon Guillelme couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Olavarría. When Pablo Arnalt fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Higuera AFC's protests and gave Pablo Arnalt a yellow card for diving instead. The audience cheered when Evelio Normando's long shot passed Patricio Moise's right side. It was 0-1, 26 minutes into the match. Jonatan Chico hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Zeledon Guillelme was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 33rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Jesus Iaki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Patricio Moise tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gavino Froila struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Patricio Moise didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olavarría.

The wind increased when Jesus Iaki made the kick off in the second half. Jesus Iaki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Patricio Moise tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jesus Iaki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Apolo Cedro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Bilintx having to interfere. In the 71st minute Apolo Cedro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Bilintx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Bilintx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apolo Cedro in the 73rd minute of the match. If Vicente Cristos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Olavarría's Jesus Iaki in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Higuera AFC's goalie prevented a goal. 92 minutes into the game, Everardo Soter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Higuera AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Olavarría the free kick. In the 92nd match minute, Higuera AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Soter to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Olavarría's Evelio Normando tried to score from far away in the 93rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Everardo Soter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Bilintx having to interfere. The Higuera AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Olavarría's performance. The match ended with a win for Olavarría.
