In the 4th match minute, Olpas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Cai to maneuver through the defense. Baldomero Fraco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Godofredo Remir when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Prudencio Alvarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dionisio Frederik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 17 minutes, Baldomero Fraco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olpas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baldomero Fraco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baldomero Fraco took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Godofredo Remir. Godofredo Remir dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After having played for 22 minutes, Baldomero Fraco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olpas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baldomero Fraco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Olpas's goal looked a bit too open when Dionisio Frederik came free, but Prudencio Alvarez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Aimogasta AFC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Santiago Errando hit a great ball. Godofredo Remir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siro Ermengol in the 28th minute of the match. Aimogasta AFC's Godofredo Remir proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Aimogasta AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 31st minute Siro Ermengol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godofredo Remir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Aimogasta AFC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Santiago Errando hit a great ball. Prudencio Alvarez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejandro Kiliz, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Godofredo Remir made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Baldomero Fraco sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dionisio Frederik made a kick off. In the 54th minute, one of Olpas:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Olpas. Olpas's Prudencio Alvarez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionisio Frederik in the 61st minute of play. Siro Ermengol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angelo Chaime kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After 68 minutes Aimogasta AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Americo Mergildo who took care of the corner kick. Godofredo Remir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomero Fraco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Baldomero Fraco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Godofredo Remir was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. When Jeronimo Estebano fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aimogasta AFC's protests and gave Jeronimo Estebano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th minute, Jeronimo Estebano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Baldomero Fraco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Godofredo Remir was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Godofredo Remir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siro Ermengol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelino Gaizko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siro Ermengol in the 93rd minute of play forced Aimogasta AFC's goalkeeper Godofredo Remir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Aimogasta AFC defense, Siro Ermengol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Godofredo Remir. The Aimogasta AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Godofredo Remir should have stopped the shot.
