Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alonzo Gaur in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jesus Mouricio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alonzo Gaur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Jesus Mouricio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Faustino Tipi charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Faustino Tipi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th minute, Faustino Tipi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ismael Burni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Corpen AFC's Jesus Mouricio got control of the ball when Roberto Gelacio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aguaditas AFC's Gerardo Indar was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jesus Mouricio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Benito Sendoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Bordat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roberto Gelacio might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jesus Mouricio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roberto Gelacio ran back to his position shaking his head. Ismael Burni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Augusto Bordat came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Corpen AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Bordat couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roberto Gelacio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jesus Mouricio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Gelacio, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 64th minute, Augusto Bordat made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sendoa. Aguaditas AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Roberto Gelacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Corpen AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
