Arturo Ferrando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bandera FC's Maximino Oton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Bandera FC from getting a goal against them. After 8 minutes of play, Ajó's Alfredo Piorno made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximino Oton was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Dionisio Ugaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dionisio Ugaitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ajó's Dionisio Ugaitz got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciro Carlomagno's late challenge caught a Bandera FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciro Carlomagno helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ajó's Ciro Carlomagno got a free kick in the 37th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Ajó's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Cresenciano came free, but Arturo Ferrando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dalmacio Txema to make the kick off. Alberto Cresenciano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57thth minute of the game Dionisio Ugaitz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bandera FC's Maximino Oton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arturo Ferrando stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dalmacio Txema's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Alfredo Piorno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Maximino Oton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Cresenciano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Arturo Ferrando when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 72nd minute, Ajó's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alberto Cresenciano fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ajó's Arturo Ferrando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Ajó from getting a goal against them. Alberto Cresenciano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Arturo Ferrando when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bandera FC's Dalmacio Txema got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arturo Ferrando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmacio Txema, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dionisio Ugaitz struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Maximino Oton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ajó. Alberto Cresenciano made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 96thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Arturo Ferrando would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Bandera FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
