With an all-out effort, Pocho AFC's Nicasio Abalos threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jaime Benino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Ciriaco Savier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the game, Eusebio Lawrence was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eldorado AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pocho AFC the free kick. Ciriaco Savier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicasio Abalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Benino in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute Iker Gabino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Erramun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iker Gabino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaime Benino struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Nicasio Abalos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pocho AFC. 41 minutes into the match, Pocho AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Nayely came free, but Christian Erramun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Pocho AFC defense, Iker Gabino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christian Erramun. The Pocho AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christian Erramun should have stopped the shot. In the 45th minute, Higinio Hegoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaime Benino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bonifacio Cesario's late challenge caught a Pocho AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bonifacio Cesario helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th match minute, Eldorado AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bonifacio Cesario to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jaime Benino in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicasio Abalos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nicasio Abalos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Benino in the 75th minute of the match. Saturnino Nayely fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Erramun having to interfere. If Eduardo Frances had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pocho AFC's Christian Erramun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Pocho AFC from getting a goal against them.
