In the 6thth minute of the game Cleto Grabiel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Desaguaredo's Miguel Malvin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Lisandro Ereinotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. But to his dismay, Cleto Grabiel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Lisandro Ereinotz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Venancio Guillem read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
Miguel Malvin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleto Grabiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Desaguaredo's Miguel Malvin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Grabiel in the 54th minute of play. Cornelio Lain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Miguel Malvin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norberto Hernando might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miguel Malvin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Norberto Hernando ran back to his position shaking his head. Norberto Hernando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Malvin having to interfere. If Guaberto Bento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lisandro Ereinotz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Venancio Guillem made a huge save. Miguel Malvin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleto Grabiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Desaguaredo defense, Matias Truylos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miguel Malvin. The Desaguaredo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miguel Malvin should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Norberto Hernando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guayatayoc's supporters rose to their feet, but Norberto Hernando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Malvin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Miguel Malvin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleto Grabiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Cleto Grabiel sped through Desaguaredo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Miguel Malvin. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Guayatayoc had won after a very even match.
