After a rather tough play, Almona's Artemio Sugar got a free kick in the 5th minute. Israel Felipo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Ruben Maurin made a huge save. Ruben Maurin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Ekhi in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Ruben Ekhi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ruben Maurin. Ruben Ekhi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Carpintería's Ruben Maurin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Carpintería from getting a goal against them. After 19 played minutes Carpintería got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Opilano. When Almona's Ruben Ekhi in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carpintería's goalie prevented a goal. Isidoro Inautzi's late challenge caught a Almona's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isidoro Inautzi helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Almona booed when Carpintería was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Inautzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isidoro Inautzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Artaldo having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isidoro Inautzi in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dionisio Artaldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ruben Maurin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Ekhi, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Carpintería's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Ruben Ekhi scored to the left of an out of position Ruben Maurin, making the score, 2-0. After having played for 46 minutes, Isidoro Inautzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carpintería's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Inautzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ruben Ekhi to make the kick off. Dionisio Artaldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidoro Inautzi in the 54th minute. Isidoro Inautzi came free with the goalkeeper in the 58th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dionisio Artaldo could save by the left post. Israel Felipo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Maurin having to interfere. In the 69th minute Israel Felipo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Maurin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Carpintería getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Tobias Opilano hit a great ball. Ruben Ekhi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ruben Maurin having to make a save. Isidoro Inautzi might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dionisio Artaldo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isidoro Inautzi ran back to his position shaking his head. Artemio Sugar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, Carpintería's goal looked a bit too open when Ruben Ekhi came free, but Ruben Maurin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Israel Felipo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Almona's zone, Isidoro Inautzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dionisio Artaldo came out of the goal and Isidoro Inautzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Almona's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
