Silvano Florinio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cleto Nerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Matia having to interfere. Prospero Matia was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Silvano Florinio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Silvano Florinio really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Armando Sugar scored 1-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arturo Semeno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arturo Semeno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Sugar in the 46th minute of play. When Fausto Valerio fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Echegoyen AFC's protests and gave Fausto Valerio a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Rinconadillas FC booed when Echegoyen AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Valerio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raul Isidor took the ball and in the 49 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arturo Semeno. Arturo Semeno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After the first half Rinconadillas FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raul Isidor was the one to do the kick off. After 59 played minutes Rinconadillas FC got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Abastas. Cleto Nerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 70 minutes into the match, Echegoyen AFC's Cleto Nerio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Prospero Matia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Armando Sugar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Raul Isidor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arturo Semeno was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Rinconadillas FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
