Ñirihuau's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Basilio Misael was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 8th minute of the match, Basilio Misael got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ovidio Cordaro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Basilio Misael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Cordaro having to interfere. Marcial Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleto Chus having to interfere. In the 18th minute of the match Marcial Odol shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ovidio Cordaro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Basilio Misael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Marcial Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, Ñirihuau's Carolo Caton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cleto Chus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Basilio Misael got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th match minute, Socoscora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Saturnin to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Carolo Caton sped through Socoscora's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cleto Chus. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carolo Caton made a kick off. After 53 minutes, Maximiliano Dacio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Socoscora and the Ñirihuau players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 53 played minutes Socoscora got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Dacio. Cleto Chus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Caton, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Socoscora fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! In the 69th minute there was a penalty for Ñirihuau. Victor Santos stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cleto Chus. 1-2. Marcial Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Cleto Chus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ñirihuau's Carolo Caton got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, Socoscora's goal looked a bit too open when Ubaldo Cidro came free, but Cleto Chus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cleto Chus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carolo Caton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcial Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 94th minute, Leonel Berbiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cleto Chus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Santos in the 95th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robustiano Odol in the 97th minute of play forced Ñirihuau's goalkeeper Ovidio Cordaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
