Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Tomás Richie made the kick off and thus started the match. Serafino Vitin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomás Richie's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. In the 22nd minute Agustin Maties shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Montae saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustin Maties struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Lucas Montae didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zonet U-21. Lucas Montae showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardino Gaueko, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. With his leg Serafino Vitin managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Talamayo AFC's Maximo Galeno fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonas Enekoitz during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Talamayo AFC booed when Zonet U-21 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Enekoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Talamayo AFC's Tomás Richie slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Serafino Vitin. That made the score 1-0 after 29 minutes of play. Rene Gabon's late challenge caught a Talamayo AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rene Gabon helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Zonet U-21 getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Rene Gabon hit a great ball. Maximo Galeno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Serafino Vitin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

If Tomás Richie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serafino Vitin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximo Galeno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute, Bernardino Gaueko reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lucas Montae. The goal made the score 1-1. 69 minutes into the match, Zonet U-21's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Richie came free, but Serafino Vitin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Talamayo AFC's Tomás Richie in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zonet U-21's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 74 minutes, Maximo Galeno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Talamayo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximo Galeno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bernardino Gaueko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agustin Maties recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isidoro Dominguez hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
