In the 18th minute, Marcial Jeraldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Talamayo AFC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Mariano Tome hit a great ball. If Alfredo Frans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Talamayo AFC's goalkeeper Lucas Montae had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredo Frans. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfredo Frans was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredo Frans in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucas Montae prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorio Ralondo in the 59th minute of play forced Talamayo AFC's goalkeeper Lucas Montae to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredo Frans in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal.
