Laster257 FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauricio Walme was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ricardo Gasteiz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Maximiliano Chayo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Marcial Lauren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mauricio Walme's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. If Lorenzo Iturri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laster257 FC's Marcial Lauren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Walme in the 18th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lorenzo Iturri in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcial Lauren saved Laster257 FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Walme in the 20th minute of play forced Laster257 FC's goalkeeper Marcial Lauren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 minutes, Alfredo Blanco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Laster257 FC and the José players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alfredo Blanco kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Mauricio Walme had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcial Lauren. Marcial Lauren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Walme in the 32nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Laster257 FC's Tobias Matia got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Marcial Lauren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauricio Walme in the 35th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Lorenzo Iturri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The José fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. If Lorenzo Iturri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Mauricio Walme came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the José fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauricio Walme couldn't finish the play. The Laster257 FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. José were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aquilino Lertxun to make the kick off. Marcial Lauren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Iturri, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Rogelio Lluterio charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rogelio Lluterio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 68th minute, Mauricio Walme left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The José fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Mauricio Walme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 84th minute Lorenzo Iturri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Lauren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute Aquilino Lertxun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Chayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laster257 FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Lorenzo Iturri scored to the left of an out of position Marcial Lauren, making the score, 0-5. Mauricio Walme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Marcial Lauren made a huge save. When the match was over José could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Laster257 FC throughout the match.
