Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Carmelo Tuste made the kick off which started today's match. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Amancio Galo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Menucos's supporters rose to their feet, but Amancio Galo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeronimo Lico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mercedes's Jeronimo Lico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Tuste in the 11th minute of play. If Donato Orlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Arturo Artal took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Agustin Ostadar to make any attempt to save it. In the 17th minute Amancio Galo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Lico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Donato Orlin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Agustin Ostadar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Amancio Galo came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Menucos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amancio Galo couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Mercedes booed when Menucos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Pero didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 33 minutes, Amancio Galo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Menucos and the Mercedes players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 33 played minutes Menucos got a freekick which was hit by Amancio Galo. Amancio Galo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Jeronimo Lico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeronimo Lico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amancio Galo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arturo Artal was the one to do the kick off. If Donato Orlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Mercedes's Feliciano Toro seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Feliciano Toro the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Mercedes protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Feliciano Toro had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carmelo Tuste in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeronimo Lico saved Mercedes from getting behind. Fernando Herensuge kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Agustin Ostadar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Orlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mercedes fans cheered their team off the field, for while Menucos had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
