Saturnino Osorio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeo Vito, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After a rather tough play, Acambuco's Maximo Madaleno got a free kick in the 5th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Eustacio Ferrando notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Feltón FC's Gaudencio Lluciano. Gaudencio Lluciano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 12 minutes into the match, Acambuco's Eustacio Ferrando sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaudencio Lluciano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Saturnino Osorio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeo Vito in the 26th minute of play. A collision led to Acambuco getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Camilo Sagrario hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Maximino Frichoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Feltón FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximino Frichoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saturnino Osorio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tadeo Vito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Eustacio Ferrando had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaudencio Lluciano. Feltón FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eustacio Ferrando was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benedicto Eutropio to make the kick off. Feltón FC's Gaudencio Lluciano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Feltón FC from getting a goal against them. Gaudencio Lluciano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Eutropio in the 59th minute of the match. Acambuco were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Feltón FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fabricio Romildo took the corner. After taking down the ball on Acambuco's corner Maximo Madaleno fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gaudencio Lluciano quite easily take care of the ball. In the 62nd match minute, Acambuco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebio Checa to maneuver through the defense. Gaudencio Lluciano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Eutropio in the 65th minute of the match. A collision led to Feltón FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Albino Jesco hit a great ball. If Maximino Frichoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saturnino Osorio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeo Vito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximino Frichoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnino Osorio having to interfere. In the 80th match minute, Feltón FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Ebardo to maneuver through the defense. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Feltón FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fabricio Romildo was slow to take the kick. During this time Acambuco's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Fabricio Romildo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Feltón FC's Gaudencio Lluciano did a great save. If Hilario Bertin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Feltón FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Acambuco's performance. The match ended with a win for Acambuco.
