After a rather tough play, Juntas's Anibal Orlanda got a free kick in the 6th minute. With a little luck, Juntas's Miguel Larra got control of the ball when Jairo Vigil tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 11th minute Zeledon Micael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Larra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernan Librado kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Ivan Ler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Mateus, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 25th match minute, Juntas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Santxol to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Jairo Vigil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lezama AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jairo Vigil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Larra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Jairo Vigil came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Lezama AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jairo Vigil couldn't finish the play. In the 34th minute, Luciano Xabat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jairo Vigil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivan Ler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Xabat, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute, Anselmo Suero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miguel Larra made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Jairo Vigil sent off a good shot on target. Juntas's Miguel Larra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Micael in the 43rd minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Claudio Santxol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juntas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lezama AFC the free kick. Claudio Santxol hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Miguel Larra made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Jairo Vigil sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zeledon Micael in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Larra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Miguel Larra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jairo Vigil in the 48th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Juntas's goalkeeper Miguel Larra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Miguel Larra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Vigil, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Miguel Larra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Vigil in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Juntas's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Micael came free, but Miguel Larra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zeledon Micael struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Miguel Larra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lezama AFC. Eustaquio Cayo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miguel Larra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, Lezama AFC's Zeledon Micael nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Miguel Larra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 81st minute Zeledon Micael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Larra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zeledon Micael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Larra having to interfere. Zeledon Micael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Miguel Larra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jairo Vigil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Lezama AFC had won after a very even match.
