Faustino Lonzo might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Norberto Garaile. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Faustino Lonzo ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Elias Remigio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vivoratá AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elias Remigio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norberto Garaile breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Faustino Lonzo made a kick off. Elias Remigio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Garaile having to interfere. After 60 played minutes, Vivoratá AFC's Angelino Rio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Norberto Garaile came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vivoratá AFC reached it. After some careless play in the Ischilín FC defense, Elias Remigio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Norberto Garaile. The Ischilín FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Norberto Garaile should have stopped the shot. If Isidro Irrintzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norberto Garaile took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Lonzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vivoratá AFC's Felipe Loramendi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Kauldi in the 83rd minute of play. Vivoratá AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
