After a rather tough play, Tafna's Martin Cai got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 9 minutes into the match, Pirovano's goal looked a bit too open when Ariel Abadia came free, but Vladimiro Bordat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tafna's Isaac Montrel got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 11 played minutes Pirovano got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Chumo. Vladimiro Bordat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ariel Abadia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vladimiro Bordat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Abadia in the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Ariel Abadia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Bordat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tafna were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Pirovano's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gervasio Cebrian took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Pirovano's goalie and right to Baldomiro Tabb. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Pirovano's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Vladimiro Bordat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ariel Abadia, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Vladimiro Bordat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Abadia in the 25th minute of the match. Gaudencio Vigil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Tobias Cordareo made a huge save. In the 29th minute of the match Pablo Jerano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vladimiro Bordat skillfully saved the ball. Tafna's Isaac Montrel got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Ermegildo Rainerio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pirovano's supporters rose to their feet, but Ermegildo Rainerio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Montrel in the 43rd minute of play forced Pirovano's goalkeeper Vladimiro Bordat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaudencio Vigil in the 53rd minute of play forced Tafna's goalkeeper Tobias Cordareo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaudencio Omero got free with Vladimiro Bordat in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 67 played minutes Pirovano got a freekick which was hit by Dante Dominix. If Isaac Montrel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the match, Isaac Montrel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vladimiro Bordat. Pirovano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isaac Montrel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Ariel Abadia came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Tafna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ariel Abadia couldn't finish the play. After 74 minutes, Javier Roldan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pirovano and the Tafna players grew even worse after the yellow card. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
