Ermegildo Lapurdi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Jesco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ermegildo Lapurdi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Jesco, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. With a little luck, Sorento's Severo Kauldi got control of the ball when Natalio Hitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sorento's Severo Kauldi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Ferman in the 23rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Natalio Hitz got free with Severo Kauldi in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Natalio Hitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severo Kauldi having to interfere. Severo Kauldi made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Natalio Hitz sent off a good shot on target. Natalio Hitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Severo Kauldi made a huge save. Natalio Hitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severo Kauldi having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Pinto's Natalio Hitz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Severo Kauldi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Carmelo Ferman made the kick off in the second half. Lino Lugo hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Benito Ruy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Ermegildo Lapurdi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Lucas Diagur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute Jorge Jesco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Lapurdi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the game, Sorento's Benito Ruy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ermegildo Lapurdi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ermegildo Lapurdi came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Sorento's Benito Ruy. But to his dismay, Benito Ruy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Ermegildo Lapurdi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Jesco in the 76th minute of the match. After 76 minutes, Lino Lugo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pinto and the Sorento players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lino Lugo kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Pinto's Carmelo Ferman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Severo Kauldi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sorento walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
