After some careless play in the Gastre FC defense, Jorge Jesco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hernan Perrando. The Gastre FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hernan Perrando should have stopped the shot. Jorge Jesco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodrigo Abeita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Severo Kauldi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hernan Perrando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Jesco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Augusto Belmiro hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Roman Txatxu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hernan Perrando. Gastre FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Severo Kauldi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Abeita in the 25th minute of play. Rigoberto Rexino kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. If Rodrigo Abeita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Sorento's Rigoberto Rexino got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Jorge Jesco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Perrando having to interfere. After 36 minutes, Salvador Montay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gastre FC and the Sorento players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 37th minute, Salvador Montay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 41 played minutes Sorento got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Gabirel. In the 42nd minute of the match Silvio Gutxi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Severo Kauldi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Gastre FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Jesco came free, but Hernan Perrando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Gastre FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sorento were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodrigo Abeita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Sorento's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Abeita came free, but Severo Kauldi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severo Kauldi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Belmiro in the 78th minute of play. Hernan Perrando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Jesco in the 85th minute of play. With a little luck, Gastre FC's Hernan Perrando got control of the ball when Benito Ruy tried to sneak it across the goal line. Silvio Gutxi, 96 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
