With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonardo Haritzeder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Carmelo Ferman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Sergio Onofre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Casimiro Espiridion fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pinto's protests and gave Casimiro Espiridion a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Pinto getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Casimiro Espiridion hit a great ball. In the 19th minute of the match Pinto got a corner. Victorica's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lucas Diagur ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Victorica's goalkeeper Leonardo Haritzeder, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 32nd minute of the match Venancio Gil sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leonardo Haritzeder skillfully saved the ball. Natalio Fidencio struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Ermegildo Lapurdi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Victorica. In the 35th minute, Hipolito Sazon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ermegildo Lapurdi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Onofre in the 42nd minute of the match. Natalio Fidencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sergio Onofre to strike the kick off in the second half. Ermegildo Lapurdi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Onofre, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute, Pinto's Carmelo Ferman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natalio Fidencio in the 90th minute of play forced Pinto's goalkeeper Ermegildo Lapurdi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Victorica's goal looked a bit too open when Carmelo Ferman came free, but Leonardo Haritzeder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rene Txaran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Victorica's Natalio Fidencio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ermegildo Lapurdi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
