In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind East Tokyo United's goalkeeper Cayetano Inguma, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wilfredo Terciero kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Gerardo Arixo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cayetano Inguma. East Tokyo United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerardo Arixo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 30th minute, Gerardo Arixo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cayetano Inguma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Arixo in the 32nd minute of the match. Maximiliano Jerico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Nastasio in the 33rd minute of play. Gerardo Arixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jose Gagriel struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Maximiliano Jerico didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for East Tokyo United. Maximiliano Jerico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Nastasio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jose Gagriel got free with Maximiliano Jerico in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ladislao Nastasio made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Abel Nesto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. East Tokyo United's Cayetano Inguma proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save East Tokyo United from getting a goal against them. Abel Nesto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Cayetano Inguma when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Abel Nesto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Cayetano Inguma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerardo Arixo in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cayetano Inguma saved East Tokyo United from getting behind. Abel Nesto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cayetano Inguma came out and tried to block the shot, but Abel Nesto slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 75th minute. Maximiliano Jerico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Gagriel in the 83rd minute of play. Abel Nesto took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cayetano Inguma. Cayetano Inguma dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in East Tokyo United's zone, Abel Nesto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cayetano Inguma came out of the goal and Abel Nesto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tulumaya FC's Gerardo Arixo got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maximiliano Jerico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Gagriel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute, Celso Tibalt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tulumaya FC played a much better game than East Tokyo United and deserved their victory. The East Tokyo United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
