Javier Erroman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejandro Endura, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Cipriano Su fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Eleazar having to interfere. Basilio Eleazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Su in the 21st minute of the match. Cereales's Fausto Cordarin got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Alejandro Endura came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Ensenada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejandro Endura couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Alejandro Endura made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Raulo during the 53rd minute. Javier Erroman was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Silverio Daunte capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Silverio Daunte really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. 82 minutes into the match, Ensenada's Silverio Daunte sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Javier Erroman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 82 minutes into the game, Rolando Lano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cereales's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ensenada the free kick. In the 83rd match minute, Cereales was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Lano to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cipriano Su in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basilio Eleazar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cereales's Cipriano Su got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cereales's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
