Silvio Baumer's late challenge caught a Uribelarrea AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvio Baumer helped the player get up and apologised. After 17 played minutes FC Spartanz got a freekick which was hit by Silvio Baumer. After 19 played minutes, Uribelarrea AFC's Francisco Abeijon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alvaro Fidencio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Uribelarrea AFC reached it. Celedonio Herena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Uribelarrea AFC's Celedonio Herena got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alvaro Fidencio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damaso Domenec's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. If Julian Cloyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Aldo Checa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Mauricio Seme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Cloyo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. FC Spartanz's Alvaro Fidencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Herena in the 52nd minute of play. Benjamin Valery hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Uribelarrea AFC's zone, Mauricio Seme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gualterio Orain came out of the goal and Mauricio Seme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Celedonio Herena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. During the 70th minute of the match Silvio Baumer completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Silvio Baumer a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Damaso Domenec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Alvaro Fidencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
