After a rather tough play, Copacabana FC's Patricio Ganix got a free kick in the 17th minute. Humberto Orain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Caradaro got free with Geronimo Pacorro in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Uspallata booed when Copacabana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Naelio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geronimo Pacorro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Shepherd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Copacabana FC's Geronimo Pacorro got control of the ball when Daniel Caradaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Teodoro Milian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Geronimo Pacorro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Copacabana FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Placido Aznaro hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Uspallata's zone, Humberto Orain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente Meder came out of the goal and Humberto Orain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teodoro Milian made a kick off. Vicente Meder made an important save on a dangerous shot by Humberto Orain in the 59th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Uspallata's goalkeeper Vicente Meder had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Humberto Orain. Geronimo Pacorro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Shepherd in the 64th minute of play. Teodoro Milian had several of the Uspallata's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 66 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Vicente Meder as he didn't even see the shot coming. The audience thought a goal was coming when Humberto Orain got free with Vicente Meder in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Santiago Cordarell kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. When Copacabana FC's Teodoro Milian in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Vicente Meder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Copacabana FC. In the 80th minute, Daniel Caradaro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uspallata fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. A collision led to Uspallata getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Prudencio Locaio hit a great ball. Vicente Meder was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Placido Aznaro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Caradaro in the 89th minute of play forced Copacabana FC's goalkeeper Geronimo Pacorro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Shepherd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Geronimo Pacorro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Caradaro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Geronimo Pacorro having to make a save. Copacabana FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
