Aldo Aztore's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vicente Meder read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Marcelino Mannuel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Vicente Meder made a huge save. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vicente Meder, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Tomas Shepherd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Edwardo charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Edwardo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tomas Shepherd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Erasto having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felipe Munio during the 49th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alonzo Tauro, 50 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Shepherd made a kick off. Daniel Caradaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geronimo Erasto was a little too slow when Tomas Shepherd got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-2. Geronimo Erasto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Shepherd in the 61st minute of play. Geronimo Erasto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Shepherd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Caradaro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Geronimo Erasto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tomas Shepherd struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Geronimo Erasto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uspallata. After a rather tough play, Uspallata's Angel Frasco got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Marcelino Mannuel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pocoy FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelino Mannuel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Meder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guaberto Berbiz's late challenge caught a Pocoy FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guaberto Berbiz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 89th match minute, Uspallata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guaberto Berbiz to maneuver through the defense. Vicente Meder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Aztore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aldo Aztore in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vicente Meder saved Uspallata from getting behind. Guaberto Berbiz got his second yellow card in the match during the 96th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Pocoy FC booed when Uspallata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guaberto Berbiz didn't get a good kick on the ball.
