One of Cipolleti FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Favorina FC:s goal. In the 9th minute there was a penalty for Favorina FC. Alvaro Ted stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ignacio Isauro. 0-1. After 17 played minutes Favorina FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernabe Herauso. 18 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Cipolleti FC's Jesus Sedeni fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 21st minute, Ruben Gerazan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Ruben Solustiano notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Cipolleti FC's Ignacio Isauro. Ignacio Isauro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Favorina FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruben Solustiano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ignacio Isauro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45th minute, Carmelo Goyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Cipolleti FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Favorina FC were winning 0-2.

After 52 played minutes Cipolleti FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Victoro. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Ruben Gerazan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Favorina FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruben Gerazan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ignacio Isauro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Carmelo Goyo fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cipolleti FC's protests and gave Carmelo Goyo a yellow card for diving instead. A hard shot 61 in the game by Ruben Gerazan from a close distance when the talented Ignacio Isauro managed to make a qualified save. Cipolleti FC's players were relieved. Angelino Gabirel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Favorina FC's Silverio Baldovino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesus Sedeni in the 75th minute of play. Jesus Sedeni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silverio Baldovino came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Cipolleti FC's Angelino Gabirel. But to his dismay, Angelino Gabirel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Favorina FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
