Mariano Quico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Dunixi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Benigno Isauro notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Escalante's Maximiliano Urdin. Maximiliano Urdin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guido FC's goalkeeper Mariano Quico, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Emanuel Dunixi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benigno Isauro scored 0-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maximiliano Urdin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mariano Quico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Dunixi, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute Emanuel Dunixi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Quico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Escalante's Siro Gabon got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Benigno Isauro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximiliano Urdin was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. After the first half Guido FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Siro Gabon in the 51st minute of play forced Guido FC's goalkeeper Mariano Quico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clemente Txerran charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clemente Txerran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Escalante booed when Guido FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Txerran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mariano Quico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Dunixi in the 53rd minute of play. After 54 played minutes Guido FC got a freekick which was hit by Honorato Telesforo. 55 minutes into the match, Escalante's Blas Salomon broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Leonides Procopio hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Emanuel Dunixi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute, Abel Benet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Benigno Isauro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guido FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benigno Isauro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximiliano Urdin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 73 minutes into the match, Guido FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Dunixi came free, but Mariano Quico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Sixto Adrio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuel Dunixi in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mariano Quico prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 84 minutes, Emanuel Dunixi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Escalante's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Dunixi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benigno Isauro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
