Olain FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bruno Normando was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 16th minute Agustin Asteri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustaquio Vistruario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Normando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Norino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Normando, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. If Everardo Erramu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute Agustin Asteri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustaquio Vistruario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 31 minutes, Edgardo Jacindo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Copacabana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgardo Jacindo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Olain FC's Agustin Asteri got a free kick in the 34th minute. Eustaquio Vistruario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustin Asteri in the 38th minute of the match. When Copacabana's Edgardo Jacindo in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Olain FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 43 minutes, Adan Bikendi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olain FC and the Copacabana players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Copacabana booed when Olain FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adan Bikendi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Copacabana's Reynaldo Jayvier broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Paulo Norino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Normando's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. If Bruno Normando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgardo Jacindo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Copacabana's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Asteri came free, but Eustaquio Vistruario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Normando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Agustin Asteri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agustin Asteri took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eustaquio Vistruario. Eustaquio Vistruario dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Everardo Erramu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Agustin Asteri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 89 minutes into the match, Olain FC's Agustin Asteri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eustaquio Vistruario narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Erramu in the 92nd minute of play forced Copacabana's goalkeeper Eustaquio Vistruario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bruno Normando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olain FC's Paulo Norino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Jacindo in the 97th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Copacabana players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
