Jorge Cordario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Travesía FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Tadeo Mikolas hit a great ball. The supporters of Green Day FC booed when Travesía FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Cordario didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Gaudencio Fagildo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Feliberto Ted struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Uriel Loco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Green Day FC. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorge Cordario to make the kick off. Feliberto Ted sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonas Guillen during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wilfredo Urdaspal did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Uriel Loco 73 minutes into the match. When Benedicto Hurko fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Green Day FC's protests and gave Benedicto Hurko a yellow card for diving instead. Delmiro Oroitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Gaudencio Fagildo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Green Day FC's Rene Rameriz got a free kick in the 78th minute. A nice corner shot did that Patricio Etxatxu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gaudencio Fagildo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Uriel Loco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Feliberto Ted in the 87th minute. 91 minutes into the game, Travesía FC's Delmiro Oroitz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gaudencio Fagildo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 95th match minute, Green Day FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basilio Gilen to maneuver through the defense. Travesía FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Green Day FC had controlled the match.
