Ovidio Nicholas started the match with the kick off. After 5 minutes of play, Ripamonti's Florentino Ermengol made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angel Eriz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 12th minute Severino Ferdinand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Laurentzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Severino Ferdinand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 22 minutes, Jonatan Medardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ripamonti and the Juancho players grew even worse after the yellow card. Florentino Ermengol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Eriz having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Conrado Oliveiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcos Laurentzi was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Ferdinand in the 36th minute of play forced Ripamonti's goalkeeper Marcos Laurentzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 38 played minutes Ripamonti got a freekick which was hit by Raul Camerino. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Florentino Ermengol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ripamonti's supporters rose to their feet, but Florentino Ermengol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angel Eriz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Conrado Oliveiro to make the kick off. 2-1 became the score in the 52nd minute when Severino Ferdinand elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jonatan Medardo was shown his second yellow card after 56 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Ripamonti getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Ripamonti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juancho the free kick. Conrado Oliveiro spun around in front of the goal 64 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Ripamonti's goal. Marcos Laurentzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcos Laurentzi came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Juancho's Conrado Oliveiro. But to his dismay, Conrado Oliveiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ovidio Nicholas during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Ripamonti getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Ovidio Nicholas hit a great ball. In the 90th minute, Severino Ferdinand got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raul Camerino's late challenge caught a Juancho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raul Camerino helped the player get up and apologised. 94 minutes into the game, Raul Camerino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Angel Eriz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
