Silvano Silban charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvano Silban the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Marull getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Silvano Silban hit a great ball. Sixto Estavan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Javier Asier having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ignacio Navarro in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Javier Asier saved Marull from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Guaberto Peio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Marull getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Silvano Silban hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ignacio Navarro during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Azulcuesta AFC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Ignacio Navarro hit a great ball. Guaberto Peio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Gamus in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Azulcuesta AFC's Hipolito Chorache got a free kick in the 28th minute. Teobaldo Urtungo struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Javier Asier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Azulcuesta AFC. Herman Lingren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Javier Asier having to interfere. Javier Asier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herman Lingren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvano Silban got his second yellow card in the match during the 39th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Marull getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Silvano Silban hit a great ball. The corner led Azulcuesta AFC's Hipolito Chorache to fire away a dangerous shot which Javier Asier despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Sixto Estavan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Herman Lingren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sixto Estavan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 63 played minutes Marull got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Gamus. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonel Gamus during the 70th minute. With a little luck, Marull's Javier Asier got control of the ball when Herman Lingren tried to sneak it across the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Marull's goalkeeper Javier Asier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teobaldo Urtungo. Leonel Gamus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Guaberto Peio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marull's Javier Asier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixto Estavan in the 86th minute of play. Sixto Estavan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over Azulcuesta AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Marull throughout the match.
