The supporters of Marull booed when Vanguardia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Rico didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Tobias Rico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Vanguardia FC's Tobias Rico got a free kick in the 66th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Osvaldo Lizardi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teodosio Hurko. Vanguardia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Osvaldo Lizardi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0.
