Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Núñez's Blas Rio got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Fidel Aires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme Arano in the 4th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Núñez's Cristobal Arotza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Uriel Ruisko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristobal Arotza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uriel Ruisko having to interfere. Uriel Ruisko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Norberto Ferman's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Norberto Ferman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Núñez's supporters rose to their feet, but Norberto Ferman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uriel Ruisko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Uriel Suero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Norberto Ferman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uriel Ruisko having to interfere. If Laureano Leoiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 47 minutes, Marcelo Gorri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Núñez and the Escoipe players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th minute, Marcelo Gorri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 53rd match minute, Núñez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Jeraldo to maneuver through the defense. Norberto Ferman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Uriel Ruisko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Norberto Ferman came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Núñez fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norberto Ferman couldn't finish the play. After having played for 67 minutes, Norberto Ferman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Núñez's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norberto Ferman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th minute, Cosme Arano fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Fidel Aires, passed just outside the right post. After 74 minutes, Laureano Leoiar made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Núñez's Fidel Aires tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Laureano Leoiar might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fidel Aires. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Laureano Leoiar ran back to his position shaking his head. Cosme Arano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Aires having to interfere. Cosme Arano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fidel Aires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Leoiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. 99 minutes into the match, Núñez's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Leoiar came free, but Fidel Aires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Escoipe walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
