Santo Intxixu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nestor Maore read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Belén's Fabricio Felo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Solustiano in the 16th minute of play. Fabricio Felo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Solustiano in the 21st minute of the match. Santo Intxixu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Maore having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
After 57 played minutes Denis Ieltxu rounded Belén's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. Fabricio Felo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Ieltxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zeledon Oihenarte's late challenge caught a Belén's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zeledon Oihenarte helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Asamblea AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 86th minute. Penalty! In the 88th minute there was a penalty for Belén. Jairo Christobal stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nestor Maore. 1-2.
