Tipán AFC's Melquiades Bemabe got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Junín:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tipán AFC:s goal. 15 minutes into the match, Junín's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Bemabe came free, but Fernando Guifre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilberto Lehior hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Bemabe in the 17th minute of play forced Junín's goalkeeper Fernando Guifre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Melquiades Bemabe notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Junín's Fernando Guifre. Fernando Guifre was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 24th minute Melquiades Bemabe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Guifre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tipán AFC's Iker Eladio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Tipán AFC from getting a goal against them. Fernando Guifre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melquiades Bemabe, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. A collision led to Junín getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Jacobo Casomiro hit a great ball. If Melquiades Bemabe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute Ildefonso Sidro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Guifre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Guifre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melquiades Bemabe, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. If Jacobo Casomiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Junín players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tipán AFC were winning 0-3.

After having played for 54 minutes, Ildefonso Sidro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tipán AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ildefonso Sidro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Anier Elequemedo came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Junín fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anier Elequemedo couldn't finish the play. Fernando Guifre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Melquiades Bemabe in the 69th minute. The audience was convinced that Jacobo Casomiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iker Eladio was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. When Jacobo Casomiro came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Junín fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacobo Casomiro couldn't finish the play. Jacobo Casomiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Melquiades Bemabes short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Fernando Guifre to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 90th minute Anier Elequemedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Eladio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tipán AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
