If Victor Fidele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25thth minute of the game Enrique Henry who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sanabria's Erasmo Ponciano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Sanabria's Victor Fidele sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ignacio Bermudo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Fidele got free with Ignacio Bermudo in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Denis Ignado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Lázaro Feliu fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sanabria's protests and gave Lázaro Feliu a yellow card for diving instead. After 44 played minutes Sanabria got a freekick which was hit by Lázaro Feliu. Enrique Henry took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erasmo Ponciano. Erasmo Ponciano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The Sanabria players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Alcorta AFC were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Enrique Henry made the kick off in the second half. Enrique Henry's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erasmo Ponciano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Ignacio Bermudo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Fidele in the 62nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enrique Henry in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erasmo Ponciano saved Sanabria from getting behind. Denis Ignado took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erasmo Ponciano. Erasmo Ponciano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Erasmo Ponciano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Dorio in the 73rd minute of play. In the 76th minute Ezequiel Idacio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacio Bermudo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ignacio Bermudo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ezequiel Idacio's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. A collision led to Alcorta AFC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Luisito Lucila hit a great ball. Victor Fidele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignacio Bermudo having to interfere. 87 minutes into the game, Benjamin Dorio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sanabria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alcorta AFC the free kick. A collision led to Sanabria getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Benjamin Dorio hit a great ball. In the 90th match minute, Sanabria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Feliu to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Tadeo Obano in the 91st minute really tested Erasmo Ponciano's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 91 played minutes Sanabria got a freekick which was hit by Lázaro Feliu. When Anselmo Nabar fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alcorta AFC's protests and gave Anselmo Nabar a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Alcorta AFC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Anselmo Nabar hit a great ball. In the 98th minute, Victor Fidele got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alcorta AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
