Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mario Iago started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Potrerillo FC's Carlos Umbruso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iker Elizardo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Iker Elizardo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mario Iago's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Zeledon Ramirez kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Potrerillo FC's Mario Iago sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iker Elizardo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Justo Sanson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudio Crispo's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Justo Sanson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Rainerio in the 19th minute of play. A collision led to MARLIN F.C. getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Zeledon Ramirez hit a great ball. MARLIN F.C.'s Iker Elizardo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save MARLIN F.C. from getting a goal against them. An unexpected shot in the 26th minute by Mario Iago got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Iker Elizardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Iago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iker Elizardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Iago, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Potrerillo FC's Justo Sanson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arsenio Fiz in the 45th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudio Crispo made a kick off. Iker Elizardo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mario Iago went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 58th minute Mario Iago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Elizardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Potrerillo FC's goalkeeper Justo Sanson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Justo Sanson was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Arsenio Fiz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arsenio Fiz really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Iago in the 79th minute of play forced MARLIN F.C.'s goalkeeper Iker Elizardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Potrerillo FC's Mario Iago got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Potrerillo FC's Mario Iago in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Carlos Umbruso ran back to his position shaking his head. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. MARLIN F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
