Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Pilar booed when Balcarce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebio Isadore didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Pilar getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Domingo Ferdinand hit a great ball. When Balcarce's Oscar Guillelmus in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pilar's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oscar Guillelmus in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeremias Frechoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17th minute Oscar Guillelmus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Frechoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Pilar's zone, Francisco Pitin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremias Frechoso came out of the goal and Francisco Pitin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pilar's Bonifacio Gines got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rosendo Enetz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Gines in the 28th minute of play. Francisco Pitin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Frechoso having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bonifacio Gines to strike the kick off in the second half. Jeremias Frechoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Guillelmus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oscar Guillelmus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Jeremias Frechoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leopoldo Jacob's late challenge caught a Pilar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leopoldo Jacob helped the player get up and apologised. After 60 played minutes Balcarce got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Jacob. In the 63rd minute Bonifacio Gines shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Enetz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th of the match, Oscar Guillelmus tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Jeremias Frechoso got in the way and made a wonderful save. Francisco Pitin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oscar Guillelmus struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Jeremias Frechoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balcarce. Abelardo Ederono kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Oscar Guillelmus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Francisco Pitin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Balcarce players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
