In the 8th minute, Leo Ortle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cayanta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Cayanta's Valentin Hunfredo got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valentin Hunfredo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gaston Ourente having to make a save. Gaston Ourente stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valentin Hunfredo's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Cayanta's Justo Rafe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavino Normando in the 21st minute of play. Justo Rafe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Marino in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 27th match minute, Infanson was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Ostots to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute, Nicanor Formerio sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Infanson's Gaston Ourente didn't even have to move. If Gavino Normando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justo Rafe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Marino, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cayanta's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Honorio Crescencio was slow to take the kick. During this time Infanson's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Infanson's corner Honorio Crescencio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Justo Rafe quite easily take care of the ball. Justo Rafe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavino Normando, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gavino Normando made a kick off. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Infanson's goalkeeper Gaston Ourente, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Valentin Hunfredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentin Hunfredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Gaston Ourente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
