Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) When the match had been going on for 6 minutes, Infanson's Honorio Crescencio got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jeremias Frechoso. When Pilar's Melchor Oriol in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Infanson's goalie prevented a goal. Bonifacio Gines fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Ourente having to interfere. In the 21st minute Bonifacio Gines shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Ourente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 played minutes Pilar got a freekick which was hit by Dalmacio Guillem. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Luciano Marino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Infanson's supporters rose to their feet, but Luciano Marino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeremias Frechoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 27 minutes into the game, Mariano Chaime was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Infanson's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pilar the free kick. 29 minutes into the match, Pilar's Melchor Oriol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaston Ourente narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gavino Normando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Frechoso having to interfere. If Gavino Normando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeremias Frechoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luciano Marino went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 40 minutes into the game, Melchor Oriol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Gaston Ourente was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Melchor Oriol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gavino Normando to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Bonifacio Gines managed to get in a good position for a shot. With an all-out effort, Pilar's Gaston Ourente threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bonifacio Gines, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gaston Ourente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Gines in the 60th minute of play. Melchor Oriol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Ourente having to interfere. If Bonifacio Gines had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luciano Marino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Jeremias Frechoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Infanson's Augusto Frances got a free kick in the 78th minute. Melchor Oriol's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, Gaston Ourente skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Domingo Ferdinand fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pilar's protests and gave Domingo Ferdinand a yellow card for diving instead. Domingo Ferdinand kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Luciano Marino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Frechoso having to interfere. Bonifacio Gines received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Gaston Ourente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Infanson's Gaston Ourente proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Infanson from getting a goal against them. Jeremias Frechoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Marino in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute Gavino Normando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Frechoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pilar players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Infanson.
