Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Espigas's Cleto Colon started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Cleto Colon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sergio Transito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sergio Transito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Ipar having to interfere. After 15 minutes of play, Guayquiraró AFC's Gonzalo Duardo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonel Ipar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Celedonio Dominix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the game, Segundo Fidensio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Espigas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guayquiraró AFC the free kick. Segundo Fidensio hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Sergio Transito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonel Ipar was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. In the 28th minute, Celedonio Dominix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30thth minute of the game Gonzalo Duardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Espigas's Leonel Ipar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Gonzalo Duardo put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Leonel Ipar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleto Colon in the 40th minute of play forced Guayquiraró AFC's goalkeeper Fausto Leobardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Espigas booed when Guayquiraró AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Salvator didn't get a good kick on the ball. Espigas's Celedonio Dominix got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute Gonzalo Duardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Ipar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celedonio Dominix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Leobardo having to interfere. The Espigas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Guayquiraró AFC were winning 0-2.

Celedonio Dominix ran back to his position shaking his head. Cleto Colon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Justo Micael fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Espigas's protests and gave Justo Micael a yellow card for diving instead. Justo Micael kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Sergio Transito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Leonel Ipar made a huge save. Celedonio Dominix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cleto Colon in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fausto Leobardo saved Guayquiraró AFC from getting behind. Fausto Leobardo came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Espigas's Celedonio Dominix. But to his dismay, Celedonio Dominix quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Fausto Leobardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cleto Colon, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Leonel Ipar made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Sergio Transito sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 86 minutes, Sergio Transito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guayquiraró AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergio Transito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Guayquiraró AFC booed when Espigas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pastor Juvenal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Espigas's Leonel Ipar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Espigas from getting a goal against them.
