The supporters of Monteagudo FC booed when Volcán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceferino Sagrario didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Emanuel Cristos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Volcán booed when Monteagudo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Caetano didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Esteban Nuno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jose Barto kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Monteagudo FC's Leo Calixto was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Emanuel Cristos in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 32 played minutes Volcán got a freekick which was hit by Amador Telesforo. Santo Illart took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emanuel Cristos. Volcán's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Volcán's Emanuel Cristos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florencio Cuarto in the 39th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Monteagudo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Inocencio Eriz came free, but Victor Hori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erubiel Odilon to make the kick off. Esteban Nuno struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Victor Hori didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Volcán. Emanuel Cristos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erubiel Odilon, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 66 played minutes Volcán got a freekick which was hit by Jose Barto. When Monteagudo FC's Erubiel Odilon in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Volcán's goalie prevented a goal. Florencio Cuarto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Volcán's goalkeeper Emanuel Cristos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 79th match minute, Volcán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Geofredo to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute, Isidro Ruisko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amador Geofredo hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Emanuel Cristos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florencio Cuarto's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute, Inocencio Eriz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Esteban Nuno got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to Monteagudo FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Diego Caetano hit a great ball. Victor Hori stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Inocencio Eriz's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
