Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cirilo Maura started the match with the kick off. After 4 minutes, Prospero Beat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carmen and the Monteros AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Prospero Beat kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Ricardo Garoa charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ricardo Garoa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 5 played minutes Monteros AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Garoa. Arsenio Shepherd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirilo Maura, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Arsenio Shepherd came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Carmen's Genaro Francho. But to his dismay, Genaro Francho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 18th minute Edelmiro Marz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celestino Berasko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Genaro Francho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Celso Henrico during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th minute, Celso Henrico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edelmiro Marz in the 30th minute of play forced Carmen's goalkeeper Celestino Berasko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cirilo Maura in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arsenio Shepherd saved Monteros AFC from getting behind. Fabio Cibran hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Arsenio Shepherd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirilo Maura in the 37th minute of play. Genaro Francho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arsenio Shepherd having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genaro Francho in the 40th minute of play forced Monteros AFC's goalkeeper Arsenio Shepherd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edelmiro Marz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Celestino Berasko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. If Ermegildo Oliviero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Monteros AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Carmen were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edelmiro Marz was the one to do the kick off. Eloy Cesario kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Celestino Berasko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Marz in the 52nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Genaro Francho got free with Arsenio Shepherd in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ermegildo Oliviero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Celestino Berasko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Monteros AFC booed when Carmen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Henrico didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermegildo Oliviero in the 57th minute of play forced Carmen's goalkeeper Celestino Berasko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th match minute, Carmen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eloy Cesario to maneuver through the defense. If Edelmiro Marz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ermegildo Oliviero in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celestino Berasko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Carmen's zone, Edelmiro Marz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celestino Berasko came out of the goal and Edelmiro Marz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arsenio Shepherd stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cirilo Maura's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Cirilo Maura kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arsenio Shepherd. That made the score 0-2 in the 80 minute of play. Celestino Berasko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edelmiro Marz in the 87th minute of the match. After 91 minutes, Aaron Mannie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carmen and the Monteros AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Carmen's Aaron Mannie got a free kick in the 91st minute. Celestino Berasko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edelmiro Marz, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Carmen walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
