Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edelmiro Marz started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute of the match Victorio Sesuldo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arsenio Shepherd skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Talamuyuna FC booed when Monteros AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Cordarrel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 4 minutes, Rigoberto Menendo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Talamuyuna FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rigoberto Menendo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bruno Urtsua hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Menendo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Talamuyuna FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monteros AFC the free kick. Eustacio Ricart's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Arsenio Shepherd skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The long shot by Omar Valery in the 30th minute really tested Arsenio Shepherd's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Eustacio Ricart scored 1-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arsenio Shepherd, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ermegildo Oliviero struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Benicio Roderigo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monteros AFC. Benicio Roderigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edelmiro Marz, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 45thth minute of the game Ermegildo Oliviero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Talamuyuna FC's Benicio Roderigo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rigoberto Menendo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Monteros AFC's goalkeeper Arsenio Shepherd, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Benicio Roderigo made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Ermegildo Oliviero sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Monteros AFC booed when Talamuyuna FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvio Orlondon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd match minute, Talamuyuna FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eleuterio Noe to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Urtsua, 73 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by German Cordarrel in the 76th minute of play forced Talamuyuna FC's goalkeeper Benicio Roderigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the game, Silvio Orlondon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arsenio Shepherd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustacio Ricart in the 85th minute of the match. Arsenio Shepherd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Menendo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Talamuyuna FC's Benicio Roderigo got control of the ball when Ermegildo Oliviero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
