Eustacio Ricart struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Celestino Berasko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Talamuyuna FC. Genaro Francho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benicio Roderigo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Carmen's Genaro Francho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benicio Roderigo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eustacio Ricart in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celestino Berasko saved Carmen from getting behind. After having played for 34 minutes, Rigoberto Menendo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Talamuyuna FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rigoberto Menendo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Talamuyuna FC's zone, Cirilo Maura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benicio Roderigo came out of the goal and Cirilo Maura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Prospero Beat kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eustacio Ricart got free with Celestino Berasko in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Eloy Cesario kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Eleuterio Noe kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Benicio Roderigo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cirilo Maura's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aaron Mannie during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 61 played minutes Carmen got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Mannie. Celestino Berasko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Menendo in the 63rd minute of play. Genaro Francho's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Benicio Roderigo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Genaro Francho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benicio Roderigo. That made the score 0-2 in the 74 minute of play. Rigoberto Menendo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Berasko having to interfere. After 82 minutes, Eleuterio Noe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Talamuyuna FC and the Carmen players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd match minute, Talamuyuna FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eleuterio Noe to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the match, Carmen's Flavio Terciero broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Genaro Francho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rigoberto Menendo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Celestino Berasko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Carmen supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Carmen would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
