In the 12th minute Torres were awarded a corner. Astor Tauro went to the cornerflag to take it. Placido Fero kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. When Placido Fero got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Torres. In the 14th minute, Alvaro Birjaio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Orlando Dominic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesus Fidencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After a rather tough play, Dolores's Baldomero Rameriz got a free kick in the 17th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Jesus Fidencio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Torres's supporters rose to their feet, but Jesus Fidencio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orlando Dominic breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Mauricio Handi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Mauricio Handi made a precise shot to the right of Luisito Pacorro. Torres's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauricio Handi in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luisito Pacorro saved Torres from getting behind. If Jesus Fidencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dolores's Ladislao Iago got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jesus Fidencio made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edelmiro Mincho during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Dolores booed when Torres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Mincho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mauricio Handi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Luisito Pacorro made a huge save. In the 77th minute, Baldomero Rameriz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Muc hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After 82 played minutes, Torres's Astor Tauro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Orlando Dominic came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Torres reached it. In the 88th minute Edelmiro Mincho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Dominic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Torres's Placido Fero got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Torres's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
