In a very dangerous position, a player in CD ASTROS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 6th minute. Penalty! In the 23rd minute, Natalio Platon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Natalio Platon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the game, Alfredo Gaur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CD ASTROS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palmas the free kick. In the 34th match minute, CD ASTROS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Gaur to maneuver through the defense. Palmas's Melchor Federigo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 35th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for CD ASTROS. After having played for 38 minutes, Teo Baudelio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD ASTROS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teo Baudelio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Palmas's zone, Melquiades Mitxel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florentino Elivareo came out of the goal and Melquiades Mitxel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Florentino Elivareo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teo Baudelio in the 44th minute of the match. The CD ASTROS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Palmas were winning 0-2.

Severiano Pepillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Melquiades Mitxel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 74 played minutes Palmas got a freekick which was hit by Severiano Pepillo. Eugenio Montes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CD ASTROS's Gaston Lano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natalio Platon in the 78th minute of play. If Natalio Platon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute Teo Baudelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Elivareo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severiano Pepillo was shown his second yellow card after 82 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Palmas getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Natalio Platon hit a great ball. Melquiades Mitxel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florentino Elivareo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 95 in the game by Eugenio Montes from a close distance when the talented Gaston Lano managed to make a qualified save. CD ASTROS's players were relieved. Teo Baudelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Palmas had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
