Herminio Madeo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Bitxintxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Caroya AFC's Victoriano Quintin got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 36 minutes into the match, Independencia AFC's goalkeeper Herminio Madeo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvestre Ranolfo. Nunez Veremundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Berenguer having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Aquilino Meder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabian Berenguer was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Herminio Madeo made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Silvestre Ranolfo sent off a good shot on target. Silvestre Ranolfo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Madeo having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aquilino Meder stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Caroya AFC's Fabian Berenguer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Caroya AFC from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Silvestre Ranolfo put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Herminio Madeo. In the 75th minute, Silvestre Ranolfo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Herminio Madeo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Ranolfo in the 77th minute of the match. Aquilino Meder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Berenguer having to interfere.
