In the 4th minute, Metin Tekin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Virgilio Herensuge was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 6th match minute, Solari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Bartolome to maneuver through the defense. If Leon Padro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raul Damario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Padro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute Metin Tekin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Herensuge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Guillerme in the 24th minute of play forced Solari's goalkeeper Virgilio Herensuge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Gustavo Berdaitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guerreros de Orizaba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Solari the free kick. In the 33rd minute, Gustavo Berdaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raul Damario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteban Donzel in the 34th minute of play. Metin Tekin might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Virgilio Herensuge. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Metin Tekin ran back to his position shaking his head. Rogelio Leizarraga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Herensuge having to interfere. If Honorato Iratzeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Metin Tekin made a kick off. Metin Tekin might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Virgilio Herensuge. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Metin Tekin ran back to his position shaking his head. Edelmiro Ekhi kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Esteban Donzel didn't quite understand what happened when in the 58 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Honorato Iratzeder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Virgilio Herensuge didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Guerreros de Orizaba's Metin Tekin shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. After a rather tough play, Solari's Placido Cresenciano got a free kick in the 73rd minute. If Metin Tekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Metin Tekin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Herensuge having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Arnulfo Elazar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maximiliano Guillerme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Virgilio Herensuge stood somewhat misplaced when Metin Tekin came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 85 minute. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Solari's goalkeeper Virgilio Herensuge, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match was over Guerreros de Orizaba could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Solari throughout the match.
