In the 4th minute, Fausto Bernebe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fausto Bernebe in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cosme Arlo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paolo Bizi's late challenge caught a Pucheta AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paolo Bizi helped the player get up and apologised. After 14 played minutes Atiles AFC got a freekick which was hit by Paolo Bizi. If Amancio Enmanuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hipolito Tebaldo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Vinicio Erruki 23 minutes into the match. Aurelio Enekoitz's late challenge caught a Pucheta AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aurelio Enekoitz helped the player get up and apologised. Aurelio Enekoitz hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Amancio Enmanuel struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Vinicio Erruki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pucheta AFC. Hipolito Tebaldo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vinicio Erruki came out and tried to block the shot, but Hipolito Tebaldo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 38th minute. Froilan Elazar charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Froilan Elazar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Atiles AFC booed when Pucheta AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Elazar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute, Fausto Bernebe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Atiles AFC's Vinicio Erruki got control of the ball when Froilan Elazar tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 49 minutes, Arnoldo Mouricio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pucheta AFC and the Atiles AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 49th minute, Arnoldo Mouricio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jacobo Estebe was the one to do the kick off. If Amancio Enmanuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Pucheta AFC defense, Fausto Bernebe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cosme Arlo. The Pucheta AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cosme Arlo should have stopped the shot. Vinicio Erruki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hipolito Tebaldo's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. After 77 played minutes Atiles AFC got a freekick which was hit by Paolo Bizi. Hipolito Tebaldo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vinicio Erruki having to make a save. Cosme Arlo was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Jacobo Estebe capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jacobo Estebe really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Jacobo Estebe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Arlo having to interfere. Vinicio Erruki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hipolito Tebaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
